Security Breach Notification
We would like to make you aware of a recently discovered security breach that may impact your users and systems.
The following breach was identified on Friday and notification should have been issued to users directly from LastPass today.
A systems and data breach has been identified by LastPass. LastPass has advised that no user encrypted data was taken but account email addresses, password reminders, server per user salts, and authentication hashes were compromised. LastPass has introduced heightened security measures in the wake of the breach requiring account verification via mail when logging in from a new device.
We recommend where possible that 2 factor authentication is enabled and master passwords and reminders should be changed, if you utilise your master password anywhere else then these accounts should also be changed.
